Description:
( Blythe is a lanky looking wolf. At first glance you might pass right by her without a second glance. After all what is there to really look at. She might have been pretty once but now all that's left is a dirty shell. She isn't tough looking, or sleek or lethal at that. She looks more or less like skeleton. Her ashy grey coat blends in with the surroundings and she always appears to have a sullen expression. Maybe her appearance is from free roaming her whole life or just from lack of food, but either way, she looks like a scraggly, skeletal, version of a wolf.Personality:
Her ribs stick out from underneath her coat and her hip bones are a little more prominent that what is healthy. Her fur is dull and lackluster. Although her appearance is somewhat unhealthy and sick looking, Blythe has vivid icy blue eyes. They stand out from her otherwise dull appearance drawing all attention to her face. If you look close enough there are tiny little flecks of gold in her right eye. Her left is just a bright blue.
Blythe is a white wolf. Since her coat is so dull one would think that the white would be all yellowed and dirty would it not? Instead, her pure snowy white coat is now looks like someone sprinkled her with ashes. Under all the dirt you can just make out the pure snowy white that was once her coat. Her paws are worse then the rest of her body. Trudging through dirt and muck does nothing for the color white. Her paws are now stained a light brown in some places where the mud refused to wash off. There is a patch on her left leg towards her paw where the fur fell out and never regrew. The skin there is black with dirt. Surrounding her right front leg, just above her knee, is a thick band of blacked fur. It almost looks like a manacle cuffing her leg. Blythe likes to think of it as such. A visible reminded of her future.
The rest of her body is mostly void of markings. Her tail which was full and fluffy now slightly resembles that of a rats tail. Most of the fur has fallen out leaving a thinned out layer running along her tail. Her face is as gaunt as the rest of her body. Her right ear is torn along the top leaving a jagged 'V' in the side. Like some wolves, she had dark black markings around both of her eyes. Not thick markings but thin ones so it almost looks like she is wearing eyeliner. Her nose is black and surprisingly enough her teeth haven't gone yellow. Blythe is sort of a contradiction. She looks sick and unhealthy but really she is fine. No health problems what so ever. )
( Blythe is a strange character. Normal wolves strive for companionship. They need it to survive. The security of having a partner to back you up in hard times. They need packs and socialization. Blythe is the opposite. She deprives herself of companionship. Blythe is sort of like a hermit, if you could compare her to a human. She roams alone keeping to herself. If she is ever encountered, her one rule is to escape, and do it quickly. Blythe is terrified of other wolves. Its her own personal phobia. She cant stand her own kind.Picture:
Blythe wasn't always like this. Her personality rotted away as her looks took a turn for the worse. She leaving a wide path between herself and anyone connected to the same species as her. If you look like a wolf or smell like a wolf, you have little chance of meeting up with Blythe. A social recluse she stakes out her visitation spots for weeks to make sure that there is absolutely no one around to see her. Try and talk to her and she'll stutter over every word, give you one worded responses, or worse just take off running. Blythe is completely random and no one has any idea what she could do next.
Not only is she a recluse but Blythe has other faults as well. She is terrified of water. Any type of water. Whether it be rain or a pond, Blythe steers clear of it until she is forced to get drinks to keep herself alive. Thunderstorms prove to be disasterous for her as well. The combination of loud noises and rain drive her over the edge. If Blythe had any sanity before, it disappears the minute the first lightning strikes. She can often be found hiding under large objects with her head below her paws. Afterwords you might catch a glimpse of her wandering the forest muttering incomprehensible things to herself.
Although Blythe has a bucket load of things wrong with her, you have to admire her ability to survive. She is clearly unable to care for herself yet she manages to survive. Blythe is extremely stubborn. If she believes in something nothing is going to sway her. Blythe is fiercely loyal and if you manage to get close enough to her heart, you'll never be forgotten. She used to be the sweetest wolf, until her life was twisted past her control. Someday she might regain her former glory but for now, she wanders, afraid of herself and others around her. )
