These are to be followed by anyone and everyone. If you've been around Proboards for a while, which I'll assume you have, you are familiar with most of these rules. Just skim over these quickly.
general/ooc
one. Respect. Learn what it means. It is a major characteristic we need you all to have if you are going to join. Members need to respect staff and guests and vice versa.
two. No fighting. At all. We're all here to have fun.
three. No stealing. I am not sure if I should list this, it's common knowledge, but do not steal other people's artwork. Artwork refers to signatures, avatars, characters, and other works of art.
four. I should not find spam on this site. Anywhere. Not in the c-box or in posts. If for some reason your hand spontaneously types hi 20 times, you probably won't find me happy.
five. Articulo Mortis is a wolf site that is leaning towards realistic. We should not find wolves with wings or five tongues. However, I do allow abnormally large wolves, purple eyes, and so on.
six. We have a 250 word post count. If you cannot meet our word post requirement, then Articulo Mortis is not the site for you. This also means we are a literate, intermediate site. You should have proper spelling and grammar. Remember that we are striving for quality rather than quantity.
seven. We allow minimal swearing. You should not swear so much and so vulgarly that I feel insulted.
eight. You need to be older than 13. We do not feel like having the site shut down because we allowed an 11 year old to role-play on the site. Also make note that we are rated PG13.

characters/accounts
one. All of our characters on this site need to be unique. We can not have 20 Mary Sue's running around.
two. Wolves without a mother or a pack cannot be younger than 6 months old. In real life, a wolf pup like that would die. They will on here as well. I will literally bring a rampaging moose and kill your character if you make a character under 6 months.
three. You need to fill out the whole character form. Also, while being on the subject of creation, mixed-breeds are allowed. It is not rare to see a Timber x Mexican wolf or a Tundra x Red wolf in the wild.
four. No annoying names. Your account name should not be something on the lines of 'WulfMaster67835.' People can not take you seriously and, quite frankly, that kind of stuff annoys the shit out of me.
five. Signatures should be anything under 301 px by 501 px. A few pixels wider or a couple pixels taller than the limits is acceptable.

posting
one. Don't powerplay. The biggest rule I am going to talk about in this section is powerplaying. To powerplay is causing a character that is not yours to do something without permission. Such as...
Do you see where the role-player made the other wolf do what they wanted them to do without any consent from the other member.
See the difference?
two. As stated before, we do have a 250 word count post.
three. As of this moment, we are allowing liquid time. Liquid time is having your wolf in multiple different threads. If I see members struggling to keep up or threads ending with 2-4 posts, I will have to decrease the number of threads you are allowed in.

breeding/birthing
one. No graphic breeding or birthing. Both breeding threads and birthing threads need to be watered down to the point where it isn't graphic at all.
two. Seasons will change every 3 weeks. There will be specific breeding and birthing periods.
three. Parents will receive status on the litter once they complete the form. An account that will be created, Mother Nature, will pm both parents with the litter's health, colors, and genders.
four. No begging. If a parent of a litter begs to get their litters a certain way the litter will all be still-born.
five. Litters will be randomized. Most colors, genders, and health will be randomized and chosen by staff. The only way to customize a litter is by buying the option in the shop.

fighting
one. Notify a staff member, preferably me, to discuss things if you're thinking of conducting a war. Minor scuffles (one on one fights, fights for pack ranks, etc.) do not have to be reported.
two. You cannot kill another players without their permission. Preferably with their consent in the fight thread.
three. Battles will be judged by three factors. Quality of post, fatality of wounds inflicted, and dodges performed.
four. Battles won't be subjective on the aspect of physical advantage. Meaning a 90 lb. Red wolf could very well beat a 180 lb Arctic wolf.
Congratulations! You've made it through all of our rules. If you decide to join, pm me telling me: fried chicken. 50 valuable A-M coins should magically appear in your stash soon. ;3
